To give you the best possible experience, we collect a few types of information when you use Cactus:

Basic account information: like your name, email address, and business details
Content you provide: such as preferences, service offerings, and customer-facing information for your storefront
Usage data: including how you interact with the platform and how Pam (your AI assistant) engages with customers
Payment information: handled securely through Stripe—we never store your full payment details ourselves

We do not collect sensitive personal data like government IDs or health records.

2. How we use your information

We use the information you share with us to:

Set up and maintain your account
Power and personalize your AI assistant
Build and update your storefront
Improve the platform based on real usage
Communicate with you about support, updates, or changes

We do not sell your personal or business information. Ever.

3. How Pam uses data

Pam, our AI assistant, uses the information you provide to interact with potential clients on your behalf. These interactions may be stored and reviewed to improve her performance —but only internally and never shared outside Cactus.

4. Sharing & third parties

We don’t share your data with anyone unless it’s necessary to run the platform. That might include:

Stripe, for payment processing
Service providers who help us with hosting, analytics, or support tools (and who follow strict privacy requirements)

We never sell or rent your information. Period.

5. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you’re a California resident, you may have the right to:

Know what personal data we’ve collected
Request that we delete your data
Opt out of any future data sharing (not applicable today, as we don’t sell data)

6. Data security

We take data protection seriously. Cactus uses secure systems and trusted partners to help safeguard your information. Still, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure — so please be mindful of what you share and let us know if something doesn’t look right.

7. Your choices

You can update or delete your information anytime by contacting us support@oncactus.com. If you’d like to deactivate your account, we’ll make sure your data is removed unless we’re legally required to keep it.

8. Updates to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll post the changes here and, if they’re significant, we’ll let you know directly. Your continued use of Cactus means you’re okay with the updates.

9. Third parties that help provide the messaging service

We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with a third party for purposes unrelated to supporting you in connection with that campaign. We may share your Personal Data with third parties that help us provide the messaging service, including, but not limited to, platform providers, phone companies, and other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will never be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

10. Additional disclosures

Affiliates: We may disclose the Personal Data to our affiliates or subsidiaries; however, if we do so, their use and disclosure of your Personal Data will be subject to this Policy. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
